“Khaana Khaya Kya?” — Have you eaten?
Three simple words, but for many of us, they carry a lifetime of memories.
They are the words a mother says to check if you are okay. The words that show care without needing an explanation. The words that remind us that someone is always thinking about us.
At Reddot Food, we believe food has always been about more than what is on the plate. It is about connection, trust and the people behind every meal.
Bringing Families Closer to the Journey Behind Their Food
Every visit to the Reddot Mill reminds us that great food begins with transparency and trust.
Our recent mill tour welcomed over 20 families to experience the journey behind our products — from carefully selected grains to stone milling, flour production and the people who bring it all together.
Families had the opportunity to see how our flours are made, understand the care behind every pack and ask questions about the ingredients and processes.
For us, these moments are just as valuable as the food itself.
Every question, suggestion and story shared during these visits helps us continue creating products that truly belong in family kitchens.
Why “Khaana Khaya Kya?” Means So Much
During the tour, we asked everyone a simple question:
“If your mum called you right now, what would she ask first?”
The answer was almost always the same.
“Khaana Khaya Kya?”
Although the words are simple, the emotions behind them are powerful.
For some, it is their mother’s way of asking if they are taking care of themselves.
For others, it is a reminder of home, family and the comfort of knowing someone cares.
It is not just a question about food.
It is a question about wellbeing.
It is a way of staying connected.
It is love expressed through everyday words.

Food That Connects Generations
Our relationship with food is built through these small moments — family meals, traditional recipes and the memories created around the kitchen table.
As we continue building our “Khaana Khaya Kya?” initiative, our hope is to create more opportunities for families, especially younger generations, to reconnect with the stories behind their food and understand the journey from grain to meal.
June's Mill Tour
From Mill to Meal
A mill tour may last only a few hours, but the conversations, connections and memories stay with us much longer.
At Reddot Food, our journey is not only about milling flour. It is about bringing people closer to their food, celebrating traditions and creating products that families can trust.
Because every meal begins with quality ingredients.
And every expression of care begins with:
