From a Plastic-Free Kitchen to Fresh Flour: The Story Behind Reddot Food

How a Personal Journey Towards a Healthier Kitchen Inspired Atta4Europe Multigrain Flour. Freshly, Locally Milled Multigrain Flour Matters More Than Ever for Families in Ireland

My plastic free kitchen

Seven years ago, I asked myself one small question

Can I make my kitchen plastic-free?

It wasn’t overnight. I reused, I invested, I made small conscious choices. And after four years, my kitchen was completely plastic free.

Then I began to think deeper. What about the food inside those containers? How far did it travel? How long has it been sitting in warehouses or on supermarket shelves? And most importantly, how fresh was it really?

Because with food, nourishment is the key. The journey every ingredient takes matters more than the aesthetics we build our kitchens around.

I believed and still believe that choosing food that travels less, stays fresher, and stays closer to nature can change everything, slowly but steadily.

The same curiosity raised another thought

What really goes into the multigrain flour we often fancy for health benefits?

And more importantly, how relevant are imported multigrain blends to life in Europe?

That question became the foundation for our hero multigrain flour “Atta4Europe” crafted with just four thoughtfully chosen ingredients.

A flour that is rich in protein, high in fibre, and has a natural warmth-giving element.

A flour truly tailored for how we live here in Europe.

What began as my personal pursuit for a healthier kitchen has grown into a business with a purpose.

I cherish this upgrade to my staples, and I’m proud to have made a difference to many kitchens like mine.

While I manage to eliminate plastic from my kitchen, there is more to do at Reddot.
